After you've read about your Real History, you may be compelled to ask some hard questions of your elected representatives and your unelected media representatives. The links below will help you find what you need. You can contact your elected representatives through the links provided here. Go to www.house.gov to find your Congressional representative, and go to www.Senate.gov to find your Senator. Make your views heard early and often! You can also read about current legislation or search proposed bills online at THOMAS (as in Jefferson, an online legislative search service.)
FAIR, Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, has extensive media activism resources, as well as articles to enhance your media awareness. Especially useful is the media list (click the bulleted text above) for finding addresses of whom to write. You can also usually find contact info directly on the media sites. Look for options labeled "feedback" or something similar.
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." A loftier preamble was never created. We the people must do what we can to fulfill the promise set forth by our ancestors. You can help. Get busy!
